The Foundation supports and raises awareness of some lesser known and preventable health issues.
The Foundation is driven by an interest in securing the long-term sustainability of the initiatives it supports. Drawing on the commercial acumen of its founder and his experience and those of its advisors, the Foundation provides strategic counsel for the projects and where appropriate, seeks to promote sustainable apprenticeships and employment. The Foundation constantly strives to help in the creation of a ‘best in class’ philanthropy for all of its chosen projects.
The Foundation sets a minimum threshold of £1.5 million per grant. From the outset each project will receive commercially minded input to ensure that money is not wasted. The larger picture will be taken into account when setting the objectives and goals of the project.
The Foundation aspires, in its small way, to help rebalance the economic divide between the South of England and the rest of the UK. Efforts will be more focused on projects north of the line; from the Severn to The Wash.
Where the variables affecting a project are known and as far as possible within our control. Having measurable outcomes that are easily monitored resulting in a visible and lasting difference.
